Summary
Building upon international partnerships and global genomic collaboration, Australian Genomics will leverage the outputs of the GHFM review to identify emerging disruptive health genomic technologies that will impact health system planning in the future. By assessing the trends in genomic research investment internationally, and the technologies prioritised by international genomic initiatives such as Genomics England, Genome Canada and PRECISE Singapore (e.g. clinical long-read sequencing, artificial intelligence), we will provide up-to-date data to inform Commonwealth, state and territory health departments’ planning and policy development.
