The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) sought feedback on their draft Institutional Underpinnings Framework. This document was co-developed with 25 Australian university partners. It aims to create a framework that informs institutions on the design of research data management within and between institutions. The initial phase focused on eight essential elements concentrating on the design of policy, procedures, infrastructure and services, and stakeholder support. Australian Genomics submission provided our perspectives on inclusions and considerations for the future drafts of the Institutional Underpinnings document.
